A little closer to home. This was taken at the Forks Riverwalk in downtown Winnipeg, so named because it's where the Red and Assiniboine rivers meet. It's a little unusual to have 16 (61) degree days here in mid-October, so I thought I'd take advantage :)

It looks very pretty, with all the orange leaves.

Ooh! Ooh! Today we got to use a real camera in Photo I. I've never used a camera with a focus ring before. For that matter, I haven't used a film camera in years.

It's weird. We went to this little Ritz camera shop, but there weren't any film cameras, so they had to call up the warehouse. They sold film, though. Just not affordable film cameras. I didn't know cameras cost so much... at least, the good ones.

Thanks! :) It really was a beautiful day to go for a walk.

Hey, that's pretty cool. It took me a while to get the hang of focusing when I first got my Minolta years ago. I paid 600$ for it and that was 20 years ago. I can't even remeber the last time I used it. Eventually I'd love to get a digital one like it, but they're REALLY expensive *sighs*

I hope that you're enjoying the photography classes. :)

:lmao: You're so lucky! Both for the weather, and that I can't throw anything through the computer :giggle: It was too gorgeous a day to pass up yesterday so I'm glad I took advantage :D It was only 46 today :( and really overcast and gloomy. I went out anyway and got some cemetery shots, and I have 6 pumkins here that look pretty photogenic

Thanks much for the fav!

This has such a lovely atmosphere. The angle and how you captured the lighting is wonderful.
