I have a new job!! I start Monday!! 
There are of course pluses and minuses to this
Plus..it's about 10 minutes from home
Minus...I start at 7:30 am. This is only a minus because I'm NOT a morning person
Plus...I finish at 3:30! I'm going to feel like I'm getting out of school!
Minus...It's a bimonthy as opposed to a bi-weekly pay day. Have to rearrange my whoooooooole budget
Plus plus plus...I'm not on the phone at all...ever. NO customer service involved
Minus...It's a drop in wages
Plus....there's LOTS of opportunity for advancement (which would mean an increase in wages
)
Plus....a better benefit package than I had before
Plus...Monday to Friday...no weekends EVER and ALL the normal holidays off...including boxing day (all the Canadians know what that means )
PLUS PLUS PLUS...I NEVER AGAIN HAVE TO WALK INTO THE HELL ON EARTH THAT I WORKED IN BEFORE!!! (do you get the feeling that I hated my job?? )
All things considered...I think the pluses out weigh the minuses
Am I happy??? YES!!

Wow it's been a while!!!
First things first... A thousand thank yous to everyone who's added me, faved and commented in my absence. I can't promise to reply to everyone individually, but I will try to get to as many as possible :)
In the meantime, I have a new set of brushes to upload, and a few other random works.

Erasure damn it!!
I'm generally fairly computer literate which is and has been a good
thing given the amount of time I spend on a computer. It's also a good
thing given the number of viruses, trojans, worms and the like that lurk
in the wings waiting for opportunity to infect the home PC.
A couple of weeks ago my PC was bitten by a nasty bug. The H1N1 of
computer viruses. Damned thing kicked my butt! I spent 5 days researching, deleting, wrestling with files that didn't belong and finally admitted defeat. I saved what I could (thank goodness for external hard drives) and reformatted.

How is it that time seems to pass by so quickly? One day it's warm and sunny and I'm planning my holidays and the next time I look up it's cold, the leaves are turning and it's October. Life really needs to slow down just a little.

Dang, that sounds a lot like me.... Or at least, what's a plus and what's a minus. Plus (har, har), the whole deal about how much you hated your last job--that was me leaving my job two jobs ago.
